A woman in Pennsylvania has consistently earned a weekly average of $1,094 in overtime on top of a $90,000 salary, despite the fact that her time and attendance while on the job clocks in at 42.6 hours per week.
According to the Pocono Record, Robyn Pugh, who works at Middle Smithfield Township's golf course, is on track to earn nearly $150,000 with overtime by the time the calendar period ends in September. Pugh earns roughly $564.88 per day. The source revealed that her annual income of $90,000 is dependent on a 30-hour work week.
However, the employee handbook for the township states that employees are required to complete a 40-hour work week, although Supervisor Chairman Scott Schaller claims that this can be altered. Federal law also mandates that an employee is only elligible for overtime after he or she has completed a 40-hour work week.
Pugh rakes in a considerably higher income than other people in similar positions, at her hourly rate of $57.69. Other employees make between $14 and approximately $27 per hour.
