"Real Housewives of New Jersey" husbands involved in overtime lawsuit

A former head waiter at the Paterson, New Jersey-based The Brownstone recently filed a lawsuit against the restaurant, claiming that he was never compensated for the 850 hours of overtime he worked per year between 2005 and his resignation last month, the Record reports.

Sandy Fernandez contends that The Brownstone and its operators wilfully violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by not paying him, despite being aware he was working overtime thanks to records kept by their attendance tracking software.

The catering hall's two owners, Albert and Thomas Manzo, are married to "Real Housewives of New Jersey" stars Caroline and Dina Manzo.

Albert Manzo was recently in the spotlight for other reasons when he resigned from his position at the North Jersey District Water Supply Commission after New Jersey Governor Chris Christie threatened to file ethics charges against him. Manzo was accused of listing his official residence as the restaurant rather than his home in nearby Franklin Lakes, which allowed him to avoid having his nomination vetoed.
